Drawing on 15 years in HR & training, I write concise, original HR and organisational development posts and articles that position you as an authority.
Businesses that specialise in learning & development, human resources, and organisational development need to establish and maintain their expertise to appeal to their client base. You need to show you know what you’re talking about. And often, that means a blog.
If all you use your blog for is driving traffic towards your website, then you can use AI for an endless supply of bland, mostly accurate, generic material. Job done.
However, if you want to use your blog to establish your expertise and experience, to stand out in a crowded marketplace, to act as a teaser or trailer for upcoming offers or events… then you need unique, targeted, accurate and authoritative articles – articles that make you sound not only expert but real.
Who are you?
You’re a training or HR consultancy providing outsourced services to medium to large businesses. Your clients expect you to be experts and you are. But you lack the time to regularly demonstrate your expertise through your blog and other articles.
You want:
- Original, informative articles, with accurate, fact-checked content.
- Content written in a ‘human’ voice (no AI slop!) that speaks to your target market and reflects your brand.
- Your online presence to be ‘fed’ with regular new material that will reach new clients.
I have 15 years and counting as a freelance professional writer (and proofreader and editor), writing blog articles about learning & development, HR, and organisational development; all thanks to a previous career in a variety of HR roles, including training design, delivery and management, internal consultancy, plus being an HR business partner to a multi-site/multi-team organisation. I use all that experience to create original, fact-checked, up-to-date articles that can support your position as an expert service provider.

PROCESS:
When starting a (hopefully) long-term writing partnership, I follow these broad steps:
- Understand your desired outcomes and success criteria.
- Understand your target market (the readership).
- Agree the writing style and tone of voice which reflects your branding and will best ensure the agreed outcomes.
- Agree topics and titles (and approximate length).
Then, for each article, I will:
- Conduct the necessary independent research.
- Write a first draft.
- Take feedback and input from you, the client.
- Edit as necessary to produce a final, signed-off article.
If you’re a learning & development, human resources or organisational development consultancy looking to offer expert, authoritative online content on a regular basis, let’s talk about a sample piece to see if we’re a good match.
